Start here to apply. We've made the application process simple. Follow these 3 steps:

1.    Register and create an account at the free Mercyhurst Online Admissions Application

The Mercyhurst Application is used for all programs at our School:

  • Undergraduate Pre-Health, Sports Medicine, Public Health, at the Erie Campus

  • All Nursing and Health Professions programs at the North East Campus

  • Graduate Programs in Exercise Science and Physician Assistant Studies

  • Post-Baccalaureate students

Complete this form if you are:

  • A traditional high school student or transfer student.

  • An adult nontraditional student or graduate student.

2.    You may also choose to complete the freeonline Common Application, with Mercyhurst Common Application Supplement. 

  • Mercyhurst University is proud to fully endorse the Common Application online admission procedures.
  • Students are reviewed under the same terms and within the same time frame as students completing Mercyhurst's online application.

3.    Prepare and attach and submit your supporting documents. Although your application is submitted online, we cannot begin your application review until we receive all required materials.

  • An Official High School transcript.

  • An Official SAT and/or ACT score report.

  • An untimed writing sample of at least 250 words.

An academic recommendation from a school counselor or teacher. Attach an Academic Recommendation Form or separate letter.
